Otterbein SeniorLife on our campus is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Tech to keep a safe, comfortable environment for residents, families and staff. The role covers general maintenance tasks across painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, moving and equipment, plus transportation support as needed.

Candidates should have a High School diploma, a valid Ohio driver’s license, and experience in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC and vehicle maintenance.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Licensure: Holds a valid Ohio driver’s license.
• Experience: General Maintenance across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, mowers and vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, comfortable environment for residents, families and staff.
• Perform general maintenance tasks including repairs in plumbing, electrical and carpentry.
• Assist with moving residents’ furnishings as needed.
• Paint living quarters as required.
• Support preventative maintenance and equipment upkeep.
• Maintain documentation for fire safety, drills, and related records.
• Assist with transportation tasks as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned and cooperate with team members.
