Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of six months experience and/or on the job training in delivery services.
• Some experience delivering heavy materials and supplies preferred.
• Ability to operate forklift, box truck with lift gate and van.
• Knowledge of the campus layout and department locations preferred.
• Basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and related software packages are required.

Responsibilities

• Provides transportation for mail and packages from off campus areas to campus locations.
• Performs other daily services such as OfficeMax, ChemStores, Book Deliveries, Office Supplies and UPS/FedEx deliveries.
• Picks up and delivers all chemicals on campus.
• Establishes daily delivery schedules and coordinates a delivery plan.
• Verifies and signs for mail, postal packages, and other delivered items.
• Responds to inquiries and assists customers and colleagues.
