Job summary

Kern Community College District in Bakersfield is seeking a Delivery Clerk to manage daily mail and materials deliveries to campus offices and off-campus departments, and to distribute and collect audio-visual equipment.

Under supervision, you will drive locally, pick up and sort mail, assist with equipment setup, and perform light maintenance of AV gear while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and at least six months of related work experience.
• Valid California driver's license required.
• Pre-employment physical and drug testing completed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-house mail to college offices and off-campus sites.
• Deliver and pickup mail, bulk mailings, and packages.
• Transport custodial supplies to off-campus sites.
• Distribute and collect audio-visual equipment; assist with setup.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
