Utah Youth Village is seeking a Campus LIFE Treatment Lead to bridge clinical plans with daily life for adolescents in residential care. You will collaborate with the Campus LIFE Supervisor, therapists, and academics to ensure consistent, trauma-informed treatment across every shift.

You will coach staff, translate plans into actionable guidance, and help the home stay steady during emotional challenges. Leadership and calm decision-making are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience working with adolescents in residential, therapeutic, or educational settings.
• Training or experience in trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and behavior support.
• Teaching-Family Model certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Walk the home, observe patterns, and adjust in real time to keep treatment on track.
• Translate clinical plans into clear, usable guidance for staff during high-stress moments.
• Coach Teen LIFE Coaches through escalations, conversations, and repair.
• Check in with students regularly to understand needs and progress.
• Lead with calm presence during crises and debrief with the team afterward.
• Collaborate with supervisors, therapists, academics, and parents to align care.
• Review incidents, spot trends, and strengthen practices to prevent problems.
• Train and mentor staff to feel confident, capable, and supported.
• Ensure the home feels emotionally safe, structured, and predictable across shifts.

Campus LIFE Treatment Lead

Full-Time | Pay based on experience | Alpine Academy / Utah Youth Village

This is a leadership role for someone who knows treatment happens in real time — not just on paper.

A day in this role might start with a check-in at shift change, noticing the tone of the home before you even say a word. You might coach a Teen LIFE Coach through a tough interaction, help a student regulate after a hard morning, or sit with a staff member who needs help translating a treatment plan into something usable in the moment. You’re the person who helps the home stay steady — especially when emotions run high.

As a Treatment Lead, you bridge the clinical plan and daily life. You bring clarity when things feel confusing, calm when things feel intense, and direction when staff aren’t sure what the next right step is. You work closely with the Campus LIFE Supervisor, therapists, and academic teams to ensure treatment is consistent, trauma-informed, and lived out with intention across every shift.

What Your Days Actually Look Like

• Walking the home, noticing patterns, and adjusting in real time to keep treatment on track
• Turning treatment plans into clear, usable guidance for staff during the moments it matters most
• Coaching Teen LIFE Coaches through emotional escalations, hard conversations, and repair
• Checking in with students regularly to understand what’s working, what’s hard, and what they need next
• Leading with calm presence during crises, then helping the team debrief and learn afterward
• Collaborating with supervisors, therapists, academics, and parents to keep care aligned and consistent
• Reviewing incidents, spotting trends, and strengthening practice before problems grow
• Training and mentoring staff so they feel confident, capable, and supported in their role
• Making sure the home feels emotionally safe, structured, and predictable — even when leadership is off-site

What You’ll Need

• Experience working with adolescents in residential, therapeutic, or educational settings
• Training or experience in trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and behavior support
• Teaching-Family Model certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong communication, documentation, and coaching skills
• Ability to physically support students in crisis and drive company vehicles
• Background check clearance
