Job summary

CT State Community College seeks a Campus Director of Information Technology to lead campus IT services, supervise staff, and align technology with academic and administrative goals. This on-site role at Norwalk Campus supports instructional tech, network services, and enterprise applications.

You will collaborate with Academic Technology Managers, Enterprise Technology Managers, and CSCU stakeholders to implement enterprise solutions, manage the campus budget, and ensure reliable IT services

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technological discipline with three or more years of experience in computer systems, networks, software design, development, and implementation; plus supervisory experience.
Experience leading a team of technical staff and coordinating with stakeholders across IT services.
Knowledge of IT service management frameworks and enterprise technology operations.

Responsibilities

Lead campus IT operations and supervise technical staff to deliver enterprise services.
Manage the local campus technology budget and coordinate with CT State IT leadership.
Collaborate with CSCU enterprise technicians, campus staff, and vendors to implement technology solutions.
Oversee disaster recovery planning and ensure business continuity at the campus.
Provide training and professional development for staff and ensure high customer satisfaction.
