Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Campus Intern in Colorado to provide basic, routine support for construction and administration-related functions under supervision. You will gain hands-on experience supporting project management, estimating, safety, accounting, and related activities to complement coursework.

The role emphasizes collaboration with project teams, exposure to site operations, and building authentic partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Monitor crew size, self-perform hours, materials, quantity and equipment with the project team.
• Provide progress updates and reports to project leadership.
• Conduct job site observations with project leadership.
• Support the close out of projects, including punchlists, manuals, and as-built drawings.
• Support vendor/trade partner pricing/bid solicitation and coordination.
• Participate in the project-specific safety plan and culture.

Role Summary

Under close and direct supervision, provide basic, routine support for one or more construction or administration-related functions including but not limited to project management, estimating, safety, accounting, etc., to support Company policies and objectives and which provide meaningful real-world, hands‑on experience to complement on‑going college‑level classroom education.

Key Role Responsibilities - Core

• Work with the project team to monitor crew size, self‑perform hours, materials, quantity and equipment.
• Provide progress updates and reports
• Conduct job site observations with project leadership
• Support the close out of projects, including the punchlist, operations and maintenance manuals, as‑built drawings, etc.
• Support vendor/trade partner pricing/bid solicitation and coordination
• Participate in all aspects of the project‑specific safety plan and culture
• Work collaboratively and create relationships with project team members, trade partners, vendors and clients
• Perform other duties as required by supervisor

The benefits package aligned to this position is Intern.

Base compensation for the Campus Intern role on Colorado is between $20 and $26 per hour, depending on experience, and may be more than this range for candidates with exceptional experience and a demonstrated history of successful performance.

In addition to base salary, the role is eligible to receive a target bonus based on both individual and company performance.
