Job summary

Colorado State University is seeking a Journeyman HVAC Technician to support a wide range of climate control systems across classrooms, research spaces, and offices on campus. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain complex HVAC equipment to ensure reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of HVAC experience performing preventative maintenance and repairs on rotating mechanical systems (fans, sheaves, belts, bearings, motors, pumps and filters).
• Combination of related HVACR education, apprenticeship, and/or experience equal to three years.

Responsibilities

• Operate, diagnose, and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems and components.
• Repair and maintain heating, ventilation, and control systems across campus facilities.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC/R equipment and associated components.
• Ensure safe operation and proper drainage of systems.
