Qualifications

• Five (5) years’ experience in the heating, ventilation and air conditioning field.
• Valid Mississippi driver license
• EPA Certified Freon gas Handler Certificate
• Ability to perform advanced math calculations.
• Ability to read, write and speak the English language fluently.
• High School diploma (or GED).

Responsibilities

• Inspect, operate and perform (minor) maintenance on installed heating system Boiler and related pumps and tanks.
• Inspect, repair‑maintain, troubleshoot and regulate HVAC equipment including boilers, heat pumps, air handling units and chillers.
• Replace components and adjust gas pressure, valves, motors, belts, and electrical parts as needed.
• Install and calibrate thermostats and controls; balance and redesign air flow through ducts and diffusers.
• Coordinate and supervise HVAC contractors and participate in preventive maintenance.
• Operate and monitor energy management systems for building controls.
