Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of related housekeeping experience.
Experience with cleaning procedures, practices and chemical handling.
Knowledge of safety procedures for hazardous cleaning chemicals.
Effective oral communication with students, staff and colleagues.
Ability to operate standard custodial equipment and lift up to 50 lbs.
Valid driver's license; must meet Mason's Vehicle Use Policy 1411.
English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site leadership to a moderate team of Housekeepers.
Monitor quality and quantity of daily cleaning work.
Ensure proper supply control and PPE usage.
Train staff and provide on-the-job coaching.
Lead custodial duties across residential facilities including floors, bathrooms, and common areas.
Respond to student concerns and resolve issues with timely follow-up.
Support building services and safety compliance.
Communicate with managers and participate in shift rotation.
