Job summary

Fayetteville Technical Community College is seeking new members for its Housekeeping Team in Facility Services. This full-time role involves cleaning classrooms, labs, offices, and common spaces, plus restrooms, and supporting events and campus operations on a rotating on-call basis.

Responsibilities include trash removal, recycling, snow and ice management, and moving furnishings as needed. Requires a high school diploma, NC driver’s license, forklift certification within a year, and Hepatitis

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A valid North Carolina driver’s license with at least five years of driving experience and a clean record in the past three years.
• Forklift certification must be obtained within one year of employment.
• Hepatitis B vaccination required or to be completed within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Remove trash from facilities and perform recycling duties.
• Clean and condition classrooms, labs, offices, and common spaces; clean restrooms.
• Assist with event setup and removal of arrangements; move furniture and supplies.
• Perform litter control and snow/ice removal; respond during on-call periods.
• Support campus operations outside of regular hours and during campus closures as needed.
