Job Summary:
Performs a variety of housekeeping duties for the campus life department on campus; cleans and sanitizes bathrooms; cleans sinks and toilets, polishes mirrors, and replenishes supplies; sweeps, vacuums, mops, and waxes floors; sweeps sidewalks; cleans windows, dusts and polishes furniture and fixtures; ensures the neatness and cleanliness of guest housing; assists with setup for events and banquets at EBC; assists in maintaining the storage equipment and linens/decoration room, signs in and out decoration when being used on campus.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or G.E.D. required, and one year experience performing general housekeeping duties or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Certifications:
Valid Driver’s License (preferred).
Physical Requirements:
Duties are performed standing and require squatting, climbing, bending, and walking. Any of the preceding duties may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of sitting. Physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting, and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.) 50% of work time.
Work Conditions:
Work is performed in a normal office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
