Job summary

Kennedy University Hospitals, Inc is seeking a Security Officer to protect university and hospital personnel, patients, students and visitors at the Cherry Hill, New Jersey campus. You will patrol, check badges, escort unauthorized persons, and respond to incidents on our campus grounds.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, ability to work all shifts, and completion of required security training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must complete SRC training modules and maintain training.
• Must be capable of running one city block and subduing an unruly individual; able to work in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Interact with visitors and staff professionally.
• Perform security patrols and verify IDs, escort unauthorized persons.
• Respond to emergencies; notify supervisor and diffuse situations.
• Investigate and document incidents; maintain daily patrol logs.
• Provide escorts and safety support to employees, patients, and visitors.
• Assist with campus parking and safety teams; enforce no-smoking rules.
• Support loss prevention and assist with training new security staff.
