Job summary

Agency for Persons with Disabilities is seeking a groundskeeper to maintain campus grounds, operate mowers and tractors, and support landscaping projects. The role requires safe operation of equipment and adherence to safety standards. You will also handle routine maintenance and keep work areas orderly.

Position is full-time on-site with standard hours and opportunities to contribute to a safe, clean environment for staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of lawn mowers, tractors and outdoor groundskeeping equipment.
• Ability to operate and maintain equipment safely according to instructions.
• Willingness to perform essential services during emergencies and after hours.

Responsibilities

• Mowing with riding mower, tractor and large mowers.
• Clean fence rows and level grounds for new fences or plantings.
• Maintain campus safety and ensure equipment safety.
• Collect trash and dispose of bio-hazardous materials properly.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and replace parts as needed.
• Keep shop clean and tools properly stored.
• Perform other related duties as requested by supervisor.
