Job summary

The University of North Florida is seeking a staff member for Housing & Residence Life-OPS to perform grounds and facilities maintenance on campus. This on-site role pays $16.00 hourly and involves cleaning trash, maintaining courtyards, dumpsters, and parking areas.

Responsibilities include operating a leaf blower, gas-powered vacuum, raking leaves, assisting with special projects and work orders, and general campus maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Empty trash containers located in Housing areas.
• Maintain the courtyards by removing any trash or debris.
• Continually keep the dumpster/recycling area clean and maintained.
• Remove any trash or debris from the courtyards, stairwells, or sidewalks in and around Housing Areas.
• Clean the outdoor cooking grills in and around the Housing Areas.
• Use the “leaf blower” to clean debris from the A/C units in Osprey Village.
• Use the gas-powered vacuum to maintain the courtyards and parking lots.
• Raking leaves.
• Special projects/event work.
• Work orders.
• Assists with campus maintenance.
