Job summary

Indiana University in Kokomo is seeking a Groundskeeper for the Physical Plant to maintain turf, beds, and walkways. Tasks include mowing, edging, mulching, planting, pruning, and small repairs, plus snow and ice removal and general building maintenance as needed.

Required are a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year of landscape/grounds work, and a valid driver’s license. Strong safety, communication, and reliability are essential in a fast-paced campus environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of landscape/grounds or light maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured.

Responsibilities

• Mow, trim, edge turf areas with riding/push mower and power tools.
• Mulch, prune, plant bulbs, shrubs, and trees; maintain flower beds.
• Perform minor repairs, snow removal, and campus maintenance tasks.
• Ensure safety and professionalism while representing IU on campus.
