Job summary

Floresville Independent School District is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Worker to care for the school's lawns, athletic fields, and surrounding areas in Floresville, TX. Qualifications

• Education/Certification: Texas Motor Vehicle Operators License is required.
• License requirements specified for the role.
• Must demonstrate safe operation of grounds maintenance equipment.
• Prior lawn care or grounds maintenance experience in an educational environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain campus lawns, athletic fields, common areas, and related structures.
• Perform mowing, edging, raking, watering, trimming, and fertilization tasks.
• Mark athletic fields for events and competitions.
• Operate and maintain grounds care equipment (mowers, trimmers, edgers, blowers).
• Ensure security and upkeep of all grounds maintenance equipment.
• Assist with installation or operation of equipment for auditoriums and gymnasiums.
