Job summary

Southeastern Louisiana University’s Department of Physical Plant Services seeks a Laborer/Horticultural Attendant to maintain turf and landscapes across campus under a Horticulturist supervisor. Qualifications

• One year of experience or training in farming, care of trees/shrubs, or groundskeeping.
• Six semester hours in a plant science or landscape field of study.

Responsibilities

• Mows, trims, edges, and blows turf areas.
• Maintains landscapes: pruning, mulching, weed control, chemical applications.
• Assists with landscape installation and planting projects.
