Job summary

Lancaster Bible College is seeking a Maintenance Grounds Supervisor to oversee the campus grounds, vehicles, and equipment, ensuring safe, attractive and well‑kept outdoor spaces.

You will supervise full‑time staff and student workers, recruit and train, manage workflows, and partner with the Operations Director on budgets and standards. The role requires leadership, reliability, and a commitment to a Christian campus environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of groundskeeping and landscaping experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• PA Pesticide License categories 6 and 7 or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of campus grounds, vehicles, and equipment.
• Assist Operations Director with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training staff and student workers.
• Oversee daily workflow and provide timely performance evaluations.
• Ensure safety and upkeep by following industry best practices and college standards.
