Job summary

Liberty University is seeking a part-time Student Designer to support internal departments and marketing needs. You will work with the full-time design team and report to the Marketing Manager to ensure brand consistency and effective visual communication across university materials.

The role requires proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with a basic understanding of typography, color theory, and design principles.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree (B.A./B.S.) in Graphic Design, Art, Communications, or related field.
• Approximately one–two years of related experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to understand and follow directions, and work under limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Produce graphic art and visual material for internal publications, recruiting materials, flyers, posters, brochures, direct mail, and digital ads.
• Shadow and receive feedback from full‑time designers, Creative Director, and Marketing Manager to learn brand and design practices.
• Assist with edits, updates and tweaks to existing designs.
• Maintain the look and feel of publications in line with brand identity guidelines.
