Job summary

Culver Academies seeks a General Maintenance staff member to support campus upkeep on-site in Culver, Indiana. Responsibilities include emergency and preventative maintenance for all Academy buildings, with electrical and plumbing repairs and general maintenance tasks to keep facilities in excellent condition.

Applicants must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid Indiana driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs.

Qualifications

High School Diploma/HSE required; post high school vocational training is desired.
Applicants must possess a valid Indiana driver’s license.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
Physically capable of accessing all campus areas and buildings, with extensive walking and possibly stairs.

Responsibilities

The General Maintenance responsibilities will include emergency repair and preventative maintenance service for all Academy buildings.
Services provided include major and minor electrical and plumbing repair and general building maintenance.
Keep accurate records of all repair activity and inform supervisor of major maintenance problems.
