Jump Trading Group is seeking engineers to join our FPGA team that is building next-generation, ultra-low-latency systems to power trading with machine learning and other algorithms on a global scale.

This is an opportunity to work on complex problems around networking, high performance computing, and real-time acceleration where we can’t just use off-the-shelf hardware. International students are encouraged to apply; visa sponsorship for full-time positions is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
• Experience with FPGA or hardware/systems design
• Experience with RTL (SystemVerilog/Verilog/VHDL)
• Previous internship in hardware or low-level software engineering
• Experience with C, C++, or Python
• Passion for solving complex problems and ability to synthesize knowledge across domains
• Reliable and predictable availability

Responsibilities

• Work on FPGA systems for ultra-low-latency trading platform
• Tackle problems in networking, high-performance computing, and real-time acceleration beyond off-the-shelf hardware
• Collaborate with a small team including engineers from leading companies and PhDs
• Carry out other duties as assigned or needed
