At Sodexo, the Food Supervisor role at Merrimack College oversees daily food service operations, coordinating shifts and ensuring quality and safety in fast casual, cafeterias, and events. You will support management on-site and supervise service staff to deliver a high standard of hospitality.

Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year of related experience, prefer supervisory background, and demonstrate teamwork, adaptability and reliability.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related work experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business.
• Assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees.
• Facilitate orientation and training of employees.
• Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in areas such as quality, service, and problem resolution.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
