Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services is hiring for a full-time Cashier/Food Service Worker at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, TX. The role involves operating the POS system, cashier duties, basic food preparation, and keeping stations clean.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Point of Sale system and assist the Chef.
• Prepare foods (meats, vegetables, desserts) and assist catering orders.
• Perform cashier duties and ensure cash accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness of cashier and coffee/food stations.
• Inventory and restock supplies; rotate stock using FIFO.
• Set up serving line and ensure proper food temperatures.
• Serve hot and cold items to customers.
• Record temperatures and daily floor stock form.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
