Job summary

Critical Response Group (CRG) is seeking a Field Mapping Associate at Michigan State University. This part-time, temporary role involves performing site visits on campus to verify and update facility maps that support emergency response efforts, in a hybrid work setup.

The candidate should be detail‑oriented, able to walk/stand for extended periods, reside on campus or have reliable transportation, and be proficient with email and phone communications. Prior graphic/drafting experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable using an iPad for basic drawing and annotation.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to walk and stand for extended periods (30 minutes to 3 hours per visit, with multiple visits per day).
• Resides on campus or has reliable transportation for off‑campus travel.
• Valid driver's license.
• Proficient with email and phone for scheduling and client communication.
