Job summary

Cordoba Corporation is looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join their Facilities Sector in Los Angeles, California. The role focuses on coordinating minor construction, tenant improvements, and small capital projects for California State University, Los Angeles (CSULA). Ideal candidates have a minimum of 5 years in facilities construction, are highly organized, and can effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders.

The position comes with a competitive salary between $97K to $110K yearly and offers a range of benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with a 401k plan and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance, facilities construction, or related project coordination roles.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, field coordination, and trade interactions.
• Ability to communicate clearly with multiple stakeholders, including trades, campus staff, and project managers.
• Experience coordinating small-scale construction or improvement projects.
• Familiarity with work order systems such as WebTMA or Maximo is a plus.
• Highly organized and proactive, comfortable in a dynamic campus environment.
• Ability to be on-site regularly and engage directly with field personnel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate minor construction and small capital projects across the CSULA campus.
• Work directly with trades personnel to understand scope and ensure execution.
• Assist M&O by communicating with trades and clarifying work requirements.
• Schedule and coordinate dates and logistics for project activities.
• Provide on-site presence to support field execution.
• Help develop and refine process workflows.
• Track project progress and identify issues.
• Support documentation and communication between CSULA Facilities, stakeholders, and trade partners.
