Job summary

Applitrack in El Paso, TX seeks a working leader to assist the head custodian in coordinating and monitoring custodial staff and services at the assigned campus. You will perform, schedule, and implement routine cleaning and maintenance to maintain safety, cleanliness and efficiency of building operations.

Responsibilities include inspecting facilities, overseeing HVAC, directing floor refinishing, ensuring safety, and training custodial staff.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; two years verifiable custodial experience including one year supervisory experience OR four years school district custodial experience.
Ability to read, write, understand and speak English; read and understand instructions for cleaning, maintenance and safety procedures; knowledge of minor repair techniques and building maintenance; operate cleaning equipment safely and lift heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and monitor custodial staff and services at the campus.
Establish and follow routine cleaning schedules and maintenance procedures.
Inspect facilities and oversee HVAC to regulate temperatures and energy use.
Direct cleaning, maintenance, and setup for school events; report unsafe conditions.
Provide training and orientation to custodial staff on safety and equipment use.
