Job summary

Jostens is seeking a Sales Associate (Part-Time, College) to represent our brand at campus events across Baldwinsville, NY and surrounding Syracuse area. You will help students and parents select commencement products, while delivering a positive, welcoming customer experience.

The role is seasonal, event-based and part-time (about 20 hours a week, with peak times). Travel within territory is required, with potential for additional events outside local areas.

Qualifications

• Professional appearance.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to travel within the territory.
• Extensive same-day travel, occasional overnight stays depending on territory and time of year.
• MS Word and Excel on personal computer(s) or laptop(s).

Responsibilities

• Transporting, setting up, and breaking down event displays.
• Educating students and their families about Jostens and the products and services provided.
• Assisting customers with sales of multiple products.
• Arrive punctually to school events—locations may vary based on territory.
• Professional appearance and acumen.
• Ability to operate an iPad and use a computer.
• Comfortable working at fast-paced, high-energy events with high attendance.
• Possible long hours on foot, indoor, and/or outdoor.
