Job summary

Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences (PNWU) in Yakima, WA is seeking a part-time OMO Student Ambassador to assist in planning, promoting, and executing campus-wide events that advance equity, community partnerships, and health professions pipeline development.

The ambassador will work with student clubs, the Student Government Association, and campus affinity groups to boost engagement and participation in OMO programming.

Qualifications

• Must be a currently enrolled PNWU student in the first or second year.
• Preferred: prior involvement in event planning or student leadership.
• Strong written and verbal communication; professional with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple events and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate campus events promoting equity and health professions pipelines.
• Draft invitations and coordinate logistics for keynote speakers.
• Create event promotion materials across campus channels.
• Liaise with student clubs, SGA, and affinity groups to encourage collaboration.
• Mentor students involved in health professions pipeline programs.
• Provide on-site support during events, including setup and breakdown.
• Perform other duties as assigned and based on departmental need.
