Job summary

The Campus Engineer / Energy Manager identifies and coordinates energy management activities for the Auraria Higher Education Center (AHEC), reporting to the Facilities Management Department and in partnership with the Auraria Sustainable Campus Program (ASCP).

Working with Facilities Trades Departments (HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing), AHEC Projects, and contractors, the position develops best practices for all utility usage and conservation.

Responsibilities

• Audit building energy use to identify improvements and track savings.
• Track energy data using EnergyCap and ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager.
• Collaborate with ASCP to identify ROI projects with environmental impact.
• Review project specifications for MEP systems to ensure campus standards.
