Job summary

Lanier Technical College is seeking a full-time Coordinator of Emergency Preparedness at the Hall Campus. The role reports to the Chief of Police and offers a salary in the low to mid $60s annually depending on qualifications and experience.

A background check, tests, and screenings are part of the process. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining the Emergency Operations Plan, Business Continuity Plan, and Hazardous Communication Plan; coordinating drills; and supporting campus

Qualifications

• Georgia POST Police Certification required.
• High school diploma or GED; two years as a certified police officer preferred.
• Valid Georgia driver’s license.
• Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, implement, and maintain the Emergency Operations Plan.
• Develop, update, implement, and maintain the Business Continuity Plan.
• Develop, update, implement, maintain the Hazardous Communication Plan.
• Coordinate and conduct scheduled drills and training programs.
• Assist Chief of Police with incident management and real-time response.
