Job summary

Compass Group, through Chartwells Higher Ed, is hiring for a full-time DISHWASHER at the University of New Orleans campus. Location: 2000 Lakeshore Drive, New Orleans, LA. Schedule: full-time, Mon-Sun, hours may vary. Prior dishwashing experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Prior dishwashing experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or in a rack.
• Washes pots, pans and trays and ensures sanitation.
• Polishes silver using appropriate equipment and methods.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains safe chemical levels.
• Keeps dish area clean and organized; maintains floors and surfaces.
• Transfers supplies between storage and work areas; loads/unloads items.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
