Job summary

Creative Dining Services is seeking a Food Service Worker for evening and weekend hours at our campus dining program. The role supports lunch and dinner service, helping prepare meals, keep areas clean, and assist guests with a friendly, efficient service experience.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of food safety, basic batch cooking, and a willingness to work evenings and weekends. HS diploma preferred; ServSafe is a plus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of proper food safety, food handling, storage and service techniques.
• Familiarity with batch cooking techniques, time management to avoid over/under production.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• ServSafe certification - optional.

Responsibilities

• Works in the dining center during lunch and dinner service, helping to complete meal service, clean up and prepare the cafeteria area for the next day.
• Provide excellent customer service and guest interactions while helping to maintain a safe, clean and attractive facility.
