Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services is recruiting for Steward positions at the University of Pittsburgh-University Club in Pittsburgh, PA. We offer full-time and part-time schedules with pay ranging from $19.00 to $21.00 per hour, plus benefits.

Responsibilities include final preparation of food items, adherence to HACCP and OSHA standards, and providing quality customer service in a fast-paced food-service environment.

Qualifications

• Prior steward experience is preferred.
• Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Follows safety and sanitation procedures and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality customer service by attending to residents with attention to detail.
• Participates in the preparation and service of food and beverages per standards and safety guidelines.
• Cleans work area and equipment used in food preparation and service.
• Follows all safety and sanitation procedures and delivers items to and from the kitchen.
• Promotes a clean, safe, and neat environment for residents, staff and self.
• Cooperates with staff of other departments and contributes to the team.
