Job summary

Baylor University on-campus dining location is seeking an Assistant Director of Dining Services to lead daily operations, supervise a team, and drive profitability. You will partner with the Chef and management to deliver nutritious meals while expanding culinary programs and strengthening client relationships.

This role requires 1–3 years in food service supervision, strong leadership, and financial acumen.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of food service supervisory or lead experience.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
• Restaurant Management highly preferred (Starbucks, Chickfila or Panda Express).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Financial experience and business acumen skills.
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet).
• Associate’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day food service operations at Baylor's on-campus dining location.
• Manage and lead a team of associates; talent development and client relationships.
• Support profitability and financial goals in assigned area.
• Work with Chef and management to create nutritious, top-quality food.
• Implement culinary programs in coordination with marketing and culinary teams.
