Chartwells Higher Education is seeking a dynamic Foodservice Director of Dining to oversee the daily operations of Baylor University’s high-volume residential dining hall in Waco, Texas. Lead a diverse team and collaborate with culinary and marketing teams to deliver an exceptional dining experience for Baylor students.

You will focus on maintaining food quality, service excellence, and financial performance while mentoring staff and shaping campus dining culture in a vibrant university setting.

Qualifications

• BS, Hospitality or Culinary degree preferred.
• Three to five years of foodservice operation experience.
• Experience budgeting and cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Direct all aspects of daily food service operations with excellence.
• Lead and inspire a team of managers, supervisors, and frontline staff.
• Deliver exceptional food quality and customer service experiences.
• Partner with culinary teams to craft nutritious, on-trend menus.
• Monitor and manage labor and food costs to ensure financial success.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Bring new culinary programs to life with support from Chartwells’ marketing and innovation teams.
• Recruit, train, and develop team members, fostering a culture of growth.
