Telnet Inc in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Food Service Worker to support campus dining operations. You will prepare dining areas, assist kitchen staff, and ensure clean, organized service spaces for every meal.

The role involves restocking supplies, handling food display areas, and assisting with events throughout the year. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and follow standard safety and sanitation practices, with occasional overtime for campus events.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills required to manage inventory.
• Understanding of kitchen safety and sanitation practices.

Responsabilités

• Food Service & Dining Setup: Prepare the dining area for service by filling ice machines, maintaining water levels in steam tables, organizing hot/cold food displays, and setting out milk, juice, and fruit.
• Kitchen Assistance: Support cooks with daily food preparation by fetching ingredients, lifting supplies, and completing other routine kitchen tasks.
• Sanitation & Cleanup: Ensure top-notch cleanliness across all serving, dining, and kitchen areas. Thoroughly clean refrigerators, food carts, milk coolers, dishwashers, beverage dispensers, floors, tables, and doors.
• Restocking & Inventory: Replenish napkins, utensils, and other dining containers before the next meal service. Assist storekeeping with receiving, organizing, and properly rotating incoming food deliveries.
• Event Support: Provide support for special campus events throughout the year (requires occasional overtime).
