Job summary

The University of Notre Dame is hiring temporary on-call Retail Associates in Campus Dining to provide friendly customer service in a fast-paced, multi-unit environment. This role includes late shifts and responsibilities across food preparation, inventory, POS operation, and sanitation.

Qualifications

• Available to work late night shifts (6PM-2AM).
• Capable of managing time effectively with minimal supervision.
• Positive, respectful, excellent communication and listening skills.
• Previous food service experience is preferred.
• Ability to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time (up to 6 hours at a time).
• Follow food safety procedures for handling, storing, and serving food products.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests and exceed expectations while working at a fast-paced dining establishment
• Assist with preparation of food as needed
• Stock and rotation of food inventories
• Operate order and point of sale equipment
• Accurately follow the brand standards
• Wash dishes, and maintain a clean unit
• Perform all tasks relating to retail, safety and sanitation of food service facilities
