Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Food Service Manager at the Univ. of Delaware - Trabant University Center, located in Newark, DE. The role focuses on leading dining operations, delivering customer-focused service, and driving profitability for the campus food program.

You will coach staff, manage client relationships, and ensure adherence to safety and sanitation standards while meeting fiscal targets and maintaining high service levels.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 1 year of experience in a role with responsibility for others.
• Requires at least 1 year of experience in a management role.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop dining teams using coaching methods and per Aramark standards.
• Identify client needs and communicate operational progress to stakeholders.
• Manage P&L statements and deliver financial targets.
• Drive productivity through cost controls and margins awareness.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and compliance across operations.
• Oversee front-of-house operations and coordination with the Food Service Director.
