Job summary

Austin Grill LLC is seeking a Service Manager to lead the front-of-house team across our campus dining operations. You will ensure friendly service, clean spaces, and consistently high standards while solving problems on the fly and fostering a welcoming atmosphere for students, faculty, and staff.

The role emphasizes supervisory responsibilities, event support, and collaboration with kitchen and purchasing teams to keep service items stocked and costs in check.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven supervisory experience in a high-volume food service environment.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with conflict resolution ability.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities for peak service periods.
• Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-of-house team and ensure a friendly, efficient dining experience.
• Oversee training, scheduling, and performance of service staff.
• Monitor service guidelines and maintain high quality and guest satisfaction.
• Address customer concerns promptly and resolve issues effectively.
• Coordinate with kitchen and procurement to manage service inventory.
