Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or related role is required
• Knowledge of basic food preparation principles and cooking methods
• Must be able to obtain a food safety certification
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills
• Strong interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of foods according to recipes and guidelines
• Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment
• Measure, weigh, mix, chop, trim, and peel food items
• Safely use utensils including knives and operate ovens, stoves, and mixers
• Bake, roast, steam, and use multiple cooking methods for meats and vegetables
• Store food properly according to safety policies and sanitize work areas
