Job summary

Campus Auxiliary Services at SUNY Geneseo is seeking a Casual Teammate to join our campus dining and service teams. This hourly, part-time role involves food preparation, serving customers, keeping dining areas clean, stocking supplies, and adhering to health codes.

Training and growth opportunities are provided, with a supportive work environment. The position reports to CAS Restaurants and Cafes Management and offers on-campus benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Essential Functions include food prep and serving, dish handling, cleaning, stocking, and following health codes.

Responsibilities

• Works in stations to prepare and serve food
• Ensures pots and pans are clean, dried and stored
• Keeps dish room clean and tidy throughout shift
• Washes tables and chairs in dining area
• Removes trash and cleans cans
• Replenishes napkins, silverware and condiments
• Cleans toaster and microwave areas as needed
• Assists with stocking items
• Follows FIFO and inventory rules
• Has knowledge of health codes and policies
• Other duties as assigned to meet goals
