Qualifications

• High School Graduation or its equivalency
• General knowledge and experience of cleaning practices, supplies, equipment and how to use them economically
• Valid North Carolina Driver’s License
• Must be 18+ with 6 months driving experience
• Must have current NC commercial driver’s license with proper endorsements and Bus Drivers Pocket Card
• Must pass a DOT drug and alcohol test
• Must never have been convicted of a DWI offense

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning and housekeeping tasks for school facilities
• General groundskeeping and maintenance of buildings and grounds
• Operate cleaning equipment and maintain inventory of supplies
• Open/close buildings and ensure security at end of day
• Transport duties and safety checks for school buses
• Report major repairs needed to the principal
• Respond to after-hour emergencies as needed
