Job summary

The position is part-time (up to 25 hours per week) with evenings and weekends as needed. Requires a High School diploma, 1 year custodial experience, and a valid NJ driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• One year custodial experience.
• Valid New Jersey Driver’s License.
• Ability to operate large floor cleaning equipment.
• Pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Works inside and outside; may be exposed to extreme temperatures.
• May lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps and vacuums floors, carpets, hallways and stairwells.
• Mops, scrubs, waxes and polishes floor surfaces with heavy-duty equipment.
• Cleans and maintains restrooms; replenishes supplies as required.
• Dusts, cleans furniture, empties trash receptacles and maintains areas.
• Moves furniture and assists in loading/unloading equipment and supplies.
• Picks up litter around entrances and parking areas.
