Job summary

College of the Redwoods is seeking a dependable custodial staff member to perform routine cleaning and maintenance across campus classrooms, offices and multi-use facilities.

The role includes floor care, restroom sanitation, light repairs, and event setup. Applicants should have basic custodial experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong safety awareness to maintain a clean and safe college environment.

Qualifications

• Reading and writing skills sufficient to perform duties.
• Prior custodial experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wash floors and clean surfaces throughout campus facilities.
• Maintain and make minor repairs to buildings and fixtures; report larger issues.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms; restock supplies and monitor cleanliness of classrooms and offices.
• Move furniture and set up rooms for events and meetings.
• Respond to emergency cleanup requests and assist in grounds maintenance as needed.
