Job summary

Oregon State University is hiring for three full-time Custodian positions with University Housing and Dining Services (UHDS). These roles support safe, clean, on-campus living and dining options, serving OSU students, staff, and guests.

The work includes various UHDS facilities and a commitment to inclusive environments. The typical shift is Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with a start date in the coming months.

Qualifications

• Custodial responsibilities require cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining a clean living environment.
• Preferred to have experience in a college or university setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are valued.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe resident hall for all guests.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, showers, classrooms and offices.
• Sweep, mop and vacuum hard surfaces and carpets.
• Clean multiple spaces within UHDS facilities.
• Assist with deep cleaning of halls, including floor work.
• Move and transport furniture and equipment.
• Trash removal and stocking paper products and chemicals.
