Job summary

Compensation is hourly between $16.76 and $20.20 with eligibility for a performance bonus; IDEA also offers comprehensive benefits including paid family leave, tuition reimbursement, mental health support, dental and vision, and other employee perks.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand instructions for cleaning, maintenance, and safety procedures
• Knowledge of minor repair techniques and building and grounds maintenance
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and lift heavy equipment
• Ability to properly handle cleaning supplies

Responsibilities

• Provide a clean and healthy environment that supports student learning
• Complete daily cleaning responsibilities with attention to detail
• Execute work orders; aim for 90% of campus projects within 48 hours
• Collaborate with Facilities Manager on facility needs and CapEx planning
• Operate safely and follow PPE protocols
• Complete SafeSchools training by deadline; wear PPE 100% of time
• Keep chemical supplies secured and inventory tracked
• Minimize material usage and maintain inventory logs
• Order supplies through Facilities Manager within guidelines
• Maintain and properly use heavy equipment
• Demonstrate reliability through attendance and punctuality
• Work as a Team Player and adapt hours to meet goals
• Follow schedules and use good judgment
