Job summary

Sitka Fine Arts Camp is seeking a reliable custodian to maintain a clean, safe Sitka Fine Arts Campus for staff and visitors. You will clean bathrooms, floors, windows, and general rooms to support a welcoming campus environment. This active role requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 70 pounds.

Compensation is $18–$20 per hour DOE, and housing is not provided. The ideal candidate has custodial experience and a courteous service mindset, with good time management and thorough

Qualifications

• Courteous service to all campus users.
• Experience in custodial work.
• Thoroughness and good time management.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
• Clean, mop, wash, buff and vacuum floors.
• Empty trash.
• Maintain outside walk areas, including sweeping debris and washing walkways.
• Clean and polish fixtures.
• Remove recycling materials.
• Clean windows.
• Dust and vacuum furniture.
• Laundry.
• Housekeeping in rooms (making beds, cleaning, taking out trash, etc).
