Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable School Custodian to perform general cleaning duties at a K-12 school, college or university campus environment. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, restroom upkeep and waste removal to maintain a safe, clean learning space.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain assigned areas (classrooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways).
• Sweep, mop, and remove debris; clean spills.
• Empty trash receptacles and manage recycling.
• Follow safety procedures for cleaners and equipment.
• Communicate with lead cleaner or manager about repairs or needs.
• Maintain restrooms and surfaces; clean windows and fixtures.
