Job summary

Bluegrass Community & Technical College is seeking a Facilities Worker II (Custodial) to maintain daily cleanliness across campus facilities.

Under supervision, duties include cleaning restrooms, classrooms, offices and common areas; vacuuming, mopping, dusting, waste disposal, floor buffing and waxing; must have a high school diploma or GED with at least one year related experience.

Qualifications

• High school/GED with one year related experience or equivalent.
• Must be physically able to lift heavy items such as office furniture and equipment.
• Good interaction/communication skills and integrity are valued.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect restrooms, classrooms, eating areas, offices, and meeting rooms.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Dust furniture.
• Clean windows.
• Disposes of trash per regulations.
• Buff floors and waxing.
• Assist facilities management team as needed.
