Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Custodial Manager to lead daily custodial operations across a higher education campus in Evanston. You will supervise custodial supervisors and frontline staff, manage staffing plans, and oversee budgets to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.

You will partner with campus stakeholders to support events, ensure safety, and maintain adherence to health standards and regulatory requirements. A strong focus on leadership and continuous improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• Must lead custodial teams and manage multiple facilities.

• Proven ability to monitor quality and drive safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct custodial services for designated campus facilities.
• Develop staffing plans, schedules, and area assignments.
• Monitor service delivery and conduct quality inspections.
• Oversee daily operations including routine cleaning, projects, events, and floor care.
• Ensure facilities meet health standards and company procedures.
• Lead and develop custodial supervisors and frontline staff.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
• Cultivate a positive, inclusive work environment and teamwork.
• Support retention and workforce planning.
• Engage with campus administrators and stakeholders to resolve service concerns.
• Respond promptly to service requests and incidents.
